GET INVOLVED

Welcome from the President

Welcome to Baldwin! If this is your first year at Baldwin, I would like to extend a very warm welcome to each of you.  If you are a "seasoned" Baldwin family, I know that you are as excited as I am to embark on the 2019-2020 school year.

As PTA President, I am looking forward to working on empowering both parents and teachers so in order to provide an excellent learning experience for our students.

I encourage each and every one of you to become a part of our team.  The number one reason to join the PTA is to benefit our students.  But there are many more advantages:

  • By becoming a PTA member, you'll be demonstrating to your child the importance you place on education.

  • By volunteering with your PTA, you can put your skills and hobbies to good use, for a good cause.

  • By getting involved, you'll get opportunities to meet other parents and teachers.

  • By attending meetings, you'll be able to make suggestions and provide your input.

Thanks to the dedication and hard work of our past PTA members, the PTA has donated so much to our school – including: I-pads, technology support, learning based software, teacher resources, and much more!

We are grateful we can provide so many needed luxuries and couldn't have done it without all your help!  We ask that you continue to support our PTA and help us continue in our success.

If you have ideas, we want to hear them! If you want to get involved, we want your help! Email me directly anytime.

Sincerely,

Janice McCoy

We are an Award Winning PTA!

We are HAPPY you are HERE!!!

The PTA is an organization of PARENTS/FAMILY MEMBERS and TEACHERS partnered together to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children!

A strong PTA needs the support of all parents, caregivers, family members, teachers, staff, and community members. Anyone who cares about our children and school can be involved.

Our volunteers offer a huge resource and support base for the Baldwin community; and the more parents and family members participate in their children’s schools, at every level, the better for student achievement.  In fact, research shows that when parents are involved, students have:

  • Higher grades, test scores, and graduation rates

  • Better school attendance

  • Increased motivation, better self-esteem

Volunteering not only benefits your children, but enriches the classroom, the whole school, and the entire community by providing students with positive interaction, support, and encouragement.

The Baldwin PTA values the individual contributions of all its members as we work collaboratively to achieve our goals. If there isn’t a job on the Volunteer list that appeals to you, let us know how you want to contribute!

What Does The PTA Do?
