H-E-B Grocery Gift Card Program
H-E-B offers a program that allows PTAs to purchase gift cards at a discount of 4-5%. Our PTA then distributes them to participants at face value and keeps that 5% to fund technology support. Baldwin was invited to join with several other schools in Austin in order to achieve the highest discount level (5%). If we do not meet a baseline participation level then we will lose our spot in this easy fundraiser. Other schools are anxious to take our spot because it is such a simple and low-cost way of raising a substantial amount of money. Most, if not all of us, already do a majority of our shopping at H-E-B. This is the only way H-E-B supports our school. We must take advantage of this program to obtain their donation. All proceeds from this fundraiser are used towards funding technology support for our school.
How does the program work?
Enrollment in the program is easy. Fill out and submit our online participation form. Payments are due by the 15th of each month. Your cards will be mailed to you by the 5th of the following month. Once you sign up all you have to do is make a payment by the 15th of each month and your cards will arrive in your mailbox a few weeks later.
To make your payment, either:
a. send us a check (by the 15 th of each month) or
b. have your bank mail one by the 15th through automatic bill pay.
c. pay by credit card for recurring monthly charge through AffiniPay

What does this program cost?
The check and automatic bill pay option add an additional $1 donation a month to help with shipping and handling fees. Including the cost of envelopes, labels, and stamps. The credit card option adds a $5 total donation per month for shipping and handling fees so that all the money HEB gives to Baldwin, goes to Baldwin.
Where can I use the HEB gift cards?
These cards are good at any H-E-B, regardless of its location, as well as any Central Market location. Cards are just like cash and do not expire.
Who can participate?
Anyone who shops at HEB or Central Market. Invite grandparents, aunts, uncles, and friends to join in the program. All gift cards will be mailed - participants do not have to live in the Austin area. This gives your extended family the ability to make monthly donations to Baldwin Elementary!!
When do I sign up or make changes to my participation?
Sign up with our ONLINE FORM today! Keep in mind, that you are committing to a reoccurring monthly order. However if you need to change your order, just go to the same form, choose 'Existing Participant' and indicate what your new amount should be each month.
What else do I need to know about the program?
It is important to remember that there is a two week period between when you pay for your gift cards and when you receive them. Also, don't forget these cards are just like cash and if they are lost or stolen you need to contact the gift card committee as soon as possible.
