Welcome Bobcats!

The mission of Baldwin Elementary is to promote a learner-centered education, where the unique and whole development of each child is nurtured in a shared partnership between caring, creative staff, parents, and community. We seek to create a challenging learning environment, provided in a nurturing, inclusive, and safe atmosphere that encourages high expectations for success. This learner-centered education inspires children to achieve their potential academically, physically, socially, emotionally, and artistically; fostering a life-long desire to learn.

It is actually worse than this scary thing. If your student is not enrolled in summer enrichment programs and/or reading daily then they can lose up to 2 months of learning. This summer, AISD is providing several free programs (some with prizes!) that are available to your student. Avoid the summer slide and go to Baldwin's Summer Slide page for everything you need (including login instructions).

This past week, Baldwin Bobcat students, faculty, parents and friends all gave Dr. Peña a surprise farewell ceremony. Many students came up on stage to speak, a video was presented that included aerial photos of the student body and even our beloved Mrs. Stevens made a guest appearance to lead the school song! Dr. Peña was Baldwin's first principal and served our community for 6 years. We all wish her the very best!

Now is the time to explore opportunities and register your child. Visit our Summer Camps page to get the resources you need.
